Leicester City Council has completed the Third Local Transport Plan (LTP3), which was adopted on 24th March 2011. The LTP3 sets out our plans for traffic and transport during the period from 2011 to 2026.

The LTP3 succeeds the Second Central Leicestershire Local Transport Plan (LTP2) for the period 2006-2011 which, in turn, followed on from the Central Leicestershire Local Transport Plan (LTP1) for the period 2001-2006, both of which were produced in partnership with Leicestershire Council.
