Employment-Enablement is where we work with you to find jobs you would like to do. We'll help you identify what training you need for the jobs and the support available.
Who can access this support?
If you are already receiving support from us you are able to get employment, for both unpaid and paid posts.
We aim to help you find a range of jobs, set careers goals and overcome barriers to help you become self-dependent.
What is the referral process?
Your Social Worker or Care Management Officer can make a referral to the Enablement Service identifying the goals to work, train for work or volunteer and gain employment
Getting to know you
Once the referral has been accepted by our team we will gather information to find out as much as we can about your interests, aspirations and needs; talking to you and the people who support you.
We work with you to identify your aspirations and employment goals then find opportunities that fit your needs. We can also identify training which will help you reach your goals.
Ongoing support in training, travel training, pre-interview support, interview, initial workplace support and induction.
How much will it cost?
There is no charge, but if you use other services there may be charges added.
