Creative Leicestershire

Creative Leicestershire supports contemporary artists and creative businesses to work effectively across a range of economic and social agendas in partnership with other agencies and aim to increase investment, employment and improve access to employment with the arts sector in Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland. The programme is funded and supported by local authorities in the area, including Leicester.

Funding toolkit

The funding toolkit is hosted by Voluntary Action LeicesterShire and provides a searchable database for national, regional and local funders supporting voluntary and community organisations in Leicester and Leicestershire.

Arts advice and support services

We are always interested to find out what arts activities groups and individuals are working on, whether this is an arts class that you have been running for a while or a new event that you want to put on in Leicester. We would love to hear from you, so why not give us a call. We can help in lots of ways, for example, by giving advice or guidance, providing some useful contacts or by letting people know that your arts activity is happening.

Cultural ambition funds

We have a small fund available to support arts and heritage projects in the Leicester. Please take a look at our guidance and application form, links below. The form must be downloaded to your computer before being filled in; then you must save the completed form and attach it to an email to submit it.
