Abbey Park bonfire and fireworks display 2019

From 5pm on Saturday 2 November, Leicester's biggest bonfire and fireworks display returns for another dazzling display at Abbey Park.

Watch the skies light up over the city at this annual family event, with a programme of live entertainment, funfair and plenty of hot food stalls. The lighting of the bonfire and main display is always a spectacular sight – with a quieter fireworks show perfect for younger audiences. 

Tickets now on sale

Save up to 40% if you buy your tickets in advance from the De Montfort Hall website or call the box office on 0116 233 3111.

The last day to purchase tickets online is Wednesday 30 October 2019. Tickets will only be available after this time in person. 

You can also buy tickets at the Visit Leicester shop on Gallowtree Gate in the city centre.

How much are the tickets?

Advance tickets

  • Adults: £6
  • Concessions and under 16’s: £4.
  • Family ticket: £16 (up to two adults, two children). Children under four get in for free.

Buying tickets on the day

You can also buy tickets on the gate that evening:

  • Adults: £8
  • Concessions and under 16’s: £5.50. Please note, no family tickets will available for sale on the gate.

Children under four get in for free. Wristbands are required and obtained when purchasing an adult ticket.

More information

We want to this to be a fun and safe event for everyone so attendees will not be allowed anywhere on the park with fireworks, sparklers, alcohol or dogs (except assistance dogs).

There is no car parking in Abbey Park, Abbey Park Road, St Margaret’s Pastures car park or the surrounding areas.

Abbey Park is a short walk from the city centre so follow directions for city centre car parks. For information on public transport, please call Travel Line on 0871 200 2233.
