Abbey Pumping Station
Abbey Pumping Station tells the story of the city’s industrial, technological and scientific heritage. The stunning beam engine house has four magnificently decorated and restored working Gimson steam-powered engines. An adjacent room is available for meetings, parties, training and receptions. Our extensive grounds are ideal for outdoor activities and events or you can hire our new marquee for exclusive use at any time during the day or evening.

Belgrave Hall and Gardens
Belgrave Hall and Gardens offers a range of rooms and spaces available for private hire, set in a courtyard of converted stable blocks in the grounds of the 300 year old grade II listed building.
The courtyard are suits a range of uses from meetings, private parties to creative activities including workshops, photography shoots or cooking classes. Additional refurbished rooms and facilities, within the house, are available meetings and events.
We have a catering kitchen, an on-site kiln, easy access to toilet facilities and limited free on-road parking outside the hall. A larger car park is available for bigger events.

Travel back in time to medieval Leicester in this grade I listed building from 1390. Its wonderfully preserved timber-framed great hall and mayor’s parlour, with oak panelling and stained glass windows, take you back to a time when Shakespeare’s players performed here. Set around a charming courtyard, the Guildhall offers a number of versatile spaces for meetings, exhibitions, receptions, product launches and live performances.

New Walk Museum and Art Gallery
Opened in 1849 and with internationally-recognised collections, this fully accessible museum is only minutes from the train station. A highly versatile venue offering a range of flexible spaces, this is a great choice to host your meeting, training event, child’s party, product launch, drinks reception, performance or creative event.
The museum has a range of room and function capacities. Our main gallery with its stage and AV system is ideal for presentations, performances and lectures for up to 200 people. Technical equipment and a Steinway grand piano are also available for hire.
The Museum café can provide hospitality and self-catering facilities are available in our council room.

Newarke Houses Museum and Gardens
Newarke Houses Museum is composed of two historic houses, Wygston's Chantry House and Skeffington House with gorgeous gardens.
The museum offers a range of flexible spaces at very competitive rates and a great choice to host your meeting, training event, workshop, seminar, product launch, party or function.
We also offer artist exhibition space for groups or individuals to hire.
