The market offers a fantastic selection of fresh fruit and veg sitting cheek to cheek with fabrics, confectionery and jewellery.
It offers an array of fresh meat, fish, seafood, game and poultry, as well as artisan cheese, fresh bread, cooked meats and other delicatessen favourites.
Major refurbishment works
We have created a temporary market on Green Dragon Square during the refurbishment of the old market site.
48 stalls and 10 container units have been installed under a weatherproof canopy, ensuring that trading can continue during the works. Work to refurbish the market is due to get under way in January, we hope to complete works before Christmas 2024.
