Roadworks in Leicester this week

New work starting w/c Sunday 21 January 2018

• Dunkirk Street: carriageway works. Road closed between Calais Hill and Wellington Street on Sunday (21 Jan) only. Also affects parts of  Calais Hill and Calais Street.  Diversions in place.

• London Road: cabling works. Lane restrictions in place between Saxby and Victoria Avenue on Sunday (21 Jan) only.

• The Littleway: water main works. Road closed on Monday (22 Jan) and Tuesday (23 Jan). Access maintained.

• Blackbird Road: cabling works. No right turn onto Devonshire Road from Blackbird Road from Thursday (25 Jan). Diversions in place.

Ongoing works:

• Loughborough Road: construction works. Road closed between Red Hill Circle and Meadows Way to city-bound traffic only. Diversions in place.

• Highcross Street: construction works. Various restrictions in place as required. Also affects Great Central Street and parts of Vaughan Way.

• York Street: construction works. Road closed between Granby Street and Albion Street. Diversions in place. Pedestrian access maintained at all times.

• Friar Lane: carriageway improvements. Road closed between Southgates and Berridge Street. Diversions in place. Access maintained for pedestrians.

• Colton Street: construction work. Road closed between Church Street and Rutland Street. Diversions in place.

Please note that emergency situations may require work schedules to be changed at short notice.
