Published on 13 March 2018

Visitors to the museum will be able to take part in a range of craft activities on Saturday, March 17, including making and designing submarines for use in a colourful seascape, and being the captain of a boat propelled by soap.

There will also be discovery trails for visitors to follow in the footsteps of some of the greatest explorers, while visitors who bring empty two-litre drinks bottles will be able to transform them into space rockets which can be launched from the museum grounds.

Admission is free, with crafts activities costing £1.50.
