Information for parents and carers of children starting school for the first time, and moving to reception class from a playgroup or nursery starting in autumn 2024.
For children born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020.

Closing date - midnight on Monday 15 January 2024
All applications received after this date will be treated as late and will be dealt with after those received on-time and you are less likely to be offered a place at your preferred schools.
If you have an exceptional reason for applying late, and if the application is received before 26 February 2024, along with the evidence, we may consider it as if it was received on time.
You will be able to make a late application from Wednesday 17 January 2024.
