Active Travel Fund
Earlier this year we were awarded £405,000 from the Department for Transport’s Emergency Active Travel Fund to improve our streets and neighbourhoods and make them cleaner and safer for all to enjoy.
The funds were used on initiatives including the creation of ‘pop up’ cycle lanes in Leicester, helping key workers in particular to get around safely during the coronavirus pandemic.
