A parliamentary election will take place on Thursday 8 June 2017. Find details on how to register to vote, notices of election and candidate information for the three Leicester constituencies.
Registering to vote
If you were on the electoral register when we wrote to you last autumn and you responded at that point, there is no need to register again unless your details have changed. You also don't need to re-register if you have registered yourself since then.
Otherwise, you need to register to vote by Monday 22 May if you want to vote in this election. Follow the quick link above to register.
If you want to apply for a postal vote, the deadline for new applications is 5pm on Tuesday 23 May. If you want to apply for a proxy vote, the deadline for new applications is 5pm on Wednesday 30 May. Application forms for both are available on our how to vote page.
