Arrivals under the Ukrainian Family Scheme

This advice is for you if you obtained your visa to come to the UK under the Ukraine Family Scheme.

The British Red Cross website contains a lot of guidance to help Ukrainian refugees in the UK.

The leaflets include information on universal credit – money to help you pay for food and essential things.

If you need to speak to someone, you can call the free British Red Cross support line on 0808 196 3651 (open between 10am-6pm every day).

If you need a support line interpreter, call and say: 'Can I speak to an interpreter?'.

Якщо вам потрібен перекладач лінії підтримки, зателефонуйте і скажіть: 'can I speak to an interpreter?' (Ukrainian)

Если вам нужен переводчик линии поддержки, позвоните и скажите: 'can I speak to an interpreter?' (Russian)

Schools for children

We are working to simplify the application process for school places for Ukrainian refugees. These will be processed within five working days.

You can find out more about applying for a school place by emailing admissions.online@leicester.gov.uk or by calling 0116 454 1009 and selecting option 1.

Health services

You can see a doctor and use health services while you are in the UK. You will need to register with a doctor. Find out more about health services.
