Enrolled a member of the gild merchant in 1368-9. In 1392 with William Mercer, he gave property at Leic. and elsewhere for the repair of the six bridges within the borough. He was living in 1415.

(King Richard II, having surrendered the crown was imprisoned, and shortly afterwards murdered at Pontefract castle early in October 1399. His successor, Henry IV, son of John of Gaunt and grandson of Edward III; was crowned 13 October the same year) .
