Son of John Reynold of Leic. and probably a grandson of John Reynold, ironmonger, living 1376. He was born about 1390, was a bailiff in 1424-1426, M.P. 1429 and 1437, and again mayor 1439, 1450 and 1458. In 1461 he executed a deed, still extant in 1935, by which he conveyed a tenement near the High Cross to the town on condition that the mayor, for the time being, shall find a priest to sing for his soul, the souls of his wife, his father and mother and his brother in perpetuity. He died a few years later leaving issue.
