Parentage unknown. According to a De Banco roll 1476 (No. 860), he and Alice, his wife, widow of Hugh Lynals of Slawston, co. Leic., gent., were parties to a suit in a plea of £100 due on a bond dated 1476. He was again mayor 1475, alderman of the first ward 1484, and was living 1486.
