1649 WILLIAM SPEECHLEY, (Gentleman).

A native of Peterborough, Northants. He settled at Leic. and was admitted a freeman as a musician and a stranger in 1605,6; was elected a chamberlain 1626, alderman 1635 and one of the coroners 1641 ; married and had issue. He was buried at St. Margaret's 19 January 1651,2. Will, dated 8 December 1651, was proved in the P.C.C., London, 21 May 1658.
