New Parks Customer Services

New Parks Customer Service Centre

   

New Parks Customer Services in the New Parks Centre delivers all Council services to local residents.  The Centre also provides a range of facilities including a cafe, library and community rooms which offer learning in a friendly environment.

 

The Centre is situated in a central location on Aikman Avenue with good transport links, disabled and on street parking nearby and a shopping parade. 

 

The Centre is staffed by a team of highly trained officers who are able to deal with any enquiry, service request or complaint about any service offered by the City Council.

 

The Customer Service area is bright and spacious with comfortable public seating and also has private interview rooms for in-depth or confidential enquiries and hosts regular advice surgeries, i.e. Community Legal Services on Debt, Money and Benefits Advice.

New Parks Customer Services deal with a number of queries, including for example:

  • Electoral Register

  • Environmental Issues

  • Recycling & Waste

  • Housing

  • Pest Control

  • Parking

  • Planning Permission

  • Viewing local applications

  • Radar Keys

 

Applications can also be processed for a range of services, including:

  • Blue Badge

  • Building Control Applications

  • Concessionary Travel Passes

  • Resident Parking & Visitor Permits

Payments

Please note we can take cash, cheque, postal orders, credit & debit card payments for some services at this centre.

Inside New Parks Customer Service Centre

Travel

First Bus number 14 or 14a run from Charles Street in the city centre, along Fosse Road North and onto Aikman Avenue – stopping just outside the Customer Service Centre at the Aikman Avenue Fire Station stop. First Bus number 94 offers an alternative route to the same destination.
