Belgrave Hall and Newarke Houses gardening volunteers

Belgrave Hall and Gardens are looking for volunteers to join their flourishing Thursday gardening group. Due to the popularity of this group we are also starting a volunteer gardening group at Newarke Houses.

Volunteers are required to work in the beautiful historic gardens of both historic houses. Willingness to work and learn is more important than gardening experience, although there are opportunities for volunteers with an interest in particular aspects of heritage gardens. Tasks include all aspects of garden maintenance.

  • Volunteers need to be interested in plants and gardens and have a genuine desire to work outside, doing gardening
  • Volunteers must be willing to learn new skills and techniques
  • Volunteers must be interested in working in a heritage site which is used by the public.

If you would like to find out more please email us.
