The Multi Access Centre (MAC) network forms part of a strategy to address the worklessness agenda, improve skills and the local economy. In Leicestershire the programme covers both Leicester City and Leicestershire County.  Within the city the multi agency network is part of the Adult Skills & Learning Service of the City Council.

The MACs provide a range of services, training and a pathway to employment for adults who have been Out of Work for 6 months or more. Whilst this is the primary role of the MAC, the combination of providers working within the centres offer a range of services, the MACs therefore support all wishing to improve their skills and employment prospects.

There are currently eight City Multi Access Centres, as detailed on the  MAC Map

Please note that the CMAC contact number has now changed to

(0116) 299 5404
