Congratulations to this year's joint Attenborough Prize winners, Bryan Hible and Mark W. Russell.
The prize was awarded to Bryan Hible for his work 'Happy hoodie spots a ship' and Mark W. Russell for 'Spotlite, journey from Calvary'. The artists were jointly awarded this year's prize and share the £2000 prize money.
The Attenborough Prize aims to support a regional artist and their professional development. The prize, now in its sixth year, featured a shortlist of nine artists selected from the Open 24 exhibition vying for the £2000 prize.

The Attenborough Prize shortlisted and winning artworks are exhibited as part of the Open 24 exhibition at New Walk Museum & Art Gallery, 2nd February - 7th April 2013.
