Parks User Groups

Park User Groups were set up for local people to have a voice about how their local parks are run. The User Groups consist of park users, local Councillors and representatives of Leicester City Council.

The aim of Groups is to enable park users to have a positive input on matters affecting their parks, with the general aim of improving the parks environment and the pleasure people gain from them.

By joining a User Group you will be invited to regular meetings and kept in touch with the latest developments affecting your park.  You are not committing yourself to attending each and every meeting.  You will be kept informed of what is going to be discussed at each meeting by receiving an agenda. If there is a matter which you would like to raise, this can be included in the agenda by contacting the relevant Parks Services office. If you are unable to attend a meeting, you will receive a copy of the minutes and the date and time of the next meeting.

The following parks hold user group meetings are held on a quarterly basis, if you would like further information contact: 0116 252 7003
