Parks Services organise a variety of events and activities throughout the year.  The Bands on Parks season is June to September and for Love Parks Week in July there is Parks Active.

Leicester City Council supports the Fire Service advice and therefore does not permit the use of Chinese Lanterns on its Parks & Open Spaces.  Please see advice statement given by the Fire Service

The BIG one is back!

Leicester's Awesome Easter Fun Fair will return to the beautiful surroundings of Abbey Park this Bank Holiday, with more thrills than ever before and entertainment for all ages to enjoy...

Opening daily 1pm - 9pm from 30th March until 15th April

This years bigger than ever Fair will include the HUGE Jungle River Log Flume and classic rides like Waltzer, Dodgems, Energizer and Sizzler, with family favourites like the Big Apple Rollercoaster, traditional Victorian Carousel and Ghost Train.  For the thrill seekers you can always try Extreme, Buzzin', Superstar and the NEW ride called "Freak Out".

Along with the fantastic selection of smaller kiddies rides and attractions, there really is something for everyone!
