The learning disabilities service works with adults to help them to develop skills and have choice and control over their lives.
More information
We believe you should be able to have more choice, improved independence, know your rights and be part of your local community.
To help you do this with work closely with you, your family, friends and carers to decide what care and support you need to be safe and as independent as possible.
You will need to complete an assessment form and if you are eligible for support you will be given a personal budget.
As part of the assessment we will tell you about a range of opportunities that exist that may help to develop your skills and improve independence, such as employment and training schemes and community groups that you may like to go to.
Is there a cost involved?
Depending on your individual circumstances you may need to contribute towards the cost of any care and support you receive. We will carry out a financial assessment to decide this.
