Bike Park

The Bike Park is an area of secure indoor parking for bikes.  There are also shower and changing facilities, a bike shop, repairs undertaken and cycle hire.  It is managed by Future Cycles.

 

The Bike Park is located under the Town Hall in Town Hall Square.  The entrance is on the corner of the square and Horsefair Street.

 

Opening hours:

Monday to Friday:   8:00 am - 6:30 pm

Saturday:  8:30 am - 6:00 pm

The Bike Park is closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays

 

Membership

Membership of the Bike Park is free.  You simply need to fill out the membership application form, take it to the Bike Park and you'll be given a OneCard.  Alternatively you can email the form to bikepark@leicester.gov.uk and a OneCard will be produced and posted out to you with 28 days.

 

Bike Park Charges

Bike Park charges with the OneCard are as follows: you can purchase weekly (£4.50), monthly (£18.00) and annual tickets (£180) or the new flexible 5, 10 or 20 day carnet, which allows you to use the Bike Park on non-consecutive days.

If you pay for the parking on a day-to-day basis, there is a charge of £1 per day or 50p for less than an hour.

 

Red Light Comedy Festival: 8th, 15th & 22nd February 2014

There are 3 comedy shows being staged in the Bike Park during the Leicester Comedy Festival at 7.30pm on 8th, 15th and 22nd February.  Tickets are only £6.  See flyer for details.  Free 1-hour led cycle rides before each show go from the Town Hall Bike Park at 6pm.
