Applying for a school place
Please note all applications made after midnight on Sunday 15 January 2017 for starting school in autumn 2017 will be treated as a late application.
If you wish to apply for a school place starting now then please complete an in-year admission application.

Help completing your application
If you require help with your school admissions application, support sessions are available at a number of schools:
Voluntary aided schools, academies and free schools
If you are applying for a voluntary aided school, academy or a free school, you must complete the schools' own supplementary information form as well as applying to Leicester City Council. You must return the supplementary form directly to the school by the closing date of Sunday 15 January 2017.

The deadline for applying for a school place to start school in autumn 2017 is Sunday 15 January 2017. Please note applications made after this date will be treated as a late application.

Closing date - midnight on Sunday 15 January 2017
Please make sure you submit your application by the closing date of midnight on Sunday 15 January 2017. Applications received after this date will be treated as late and will be dealt with after those received on time and you are less likely to be offered a place at your preferred schools.
What happens next?
You will hear about your allocated school place on Tuesday 18 April 2017. A confirmation email and letter will be sent out.
Responding to your school place offer
Parents need to respond to their offer by Monday 8 May 2017 by following the instructions in their offer email or by logging into their on-line account. If they do not have access to their email or on-line account, they can contact us on the above number. If we don’t hear from you by this date, this offer may be withdrawn.
