At recycling banks across Leicester you can recycle the following items:

Community Recycling Centres (CRCs) are free of charge to use and are for the benefit of Leicester's residents to take their own domestic household materials from the property where they live.

Both centres are open daily throughout the year except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day and will close early at 2pm on 24th and 31st December.

Illegal Tipping and Commercial Waste

for non-household waste visit the Commercial Waste and Recycling pages. If you are found to be leaving these materials you will be prosecuted.

The unauthorised tipping of waste is illegal and subject to a maximum fine of £20,000 per incident, and up to six months imprisonment.
