Please note that in Leicester normal parking charges apply on Bank Holidays, Christmas Day and Boxing Day (unless the latter fall on a Sunday).

Making parking easier

•  To make finding a parking space easier, our digital car parking signs direct drivers to the nearest multi-storey car park with free spaces.

• You can also check our online parking monitor for real-time information about parking space availability.
• Find your nearest car park by selecting 'car parks' from the list on the top left-hand side.
• You can also find any NCP car park online.
  

Disabled parking

Council-run city centre car parks offer free parking for blue badge holders. Council-run car parks are indicated in the car park lists below with an asterix *.

• Apply for a blue badge.
• Find out about disabled residents' parking spaces.

Motorcycle parking 

Free parking for motorcycles is available in the following car parks:  

• Newarke Street (Phoenix)

• Granville Road

• Victoria Park

Choose the right car park no matter which direction you are coming:

• North of Leicestershire (A6, A607)
  Follow 'North Zone' car parking signs for Abbey Street* (LE1 3UA), Haymarket (LE1 3XJ) and Lee Circle* (LE1 3RE) car parks. 
• East of Leicestershire or Rutland (A47)
  Follow 'East Zone' car parking signs for East Street (LE1 6NB), Rutland Centre (LE1 1TQ) and Lee Circle (LE1 3RE) car parks.
