Grassland Strategy 2023-2033

Grassland habitats have evolved over centuries to provide and support biodiversity - they are essential for pollinators and provide a habitat for over 1,500 species of pollinator insects in the UK. They also have the capacity to store and capture vast amounts of carbon, as well other benefits such as flood mitigation, improved water quality and cooling to help us adapt to a changing climate.
