Late change to planning meeting
Published on 12 December 2017
PEOPLE are being advised of a late change to items due to be considered at tomorrow’s meeting of the city’s Planning and Development Control Committee.
Plans submitted by Fusion Consulting Ltd, to convert a vacant warehouse Belper Street in Belgrave into a prayer facility, nursery and education centre are no longer due to be considered at the meeting taking place on Wednesday (13 Dec).
Due to a formal variation in the plans, which will change proposed operating times and the nature of the proposed prayer facility, the application will now be reconsidered and re-advertised for public comment.
The revised application is now likely to be considered at a planning meeting early in 2018. Full details will be publicised as soon as they are confirmed.
A Leicester City Council spokesperson said: “We have this week received a variation to the original plans which needs to be considered. We will be notifying the local residents and those who have already submitted comments on the application to provide an opportunity to give views on the proposed amendments.
“The application has been removed from the agenda and will not be considered or discussed at this week’s planning meeting.”
