Community Walking Groups
Leicester City Council offer free short group walks to help people discover the city on foot, encourage an active lifestyle and support positive wellbeing. Walks take place in the city, led by friendly Walk Leaders and are suitable for most abilities.
Choose How You Move provide group Discovery Walks in the city of between 45 - 90 minutes exploring different areas of Leicester. Walks include city streets, parks and green spaces, waterways and residential areas.
Some walks have a theme (such as history, wildlife or special interest subjects) and include a little information along the way. Other walks are simply a pleasant social stroll through Leicester. Step out and discover how walkable the city really is. Days, times and locations vary. For full details of upcoming group walks, visit Choose How You Move events.
