Filming in Leicester

Seeking permission to film in Leicester? We are a member of the Filming in England Partnership, put together by Creative England’s Filming in England team, and are very happy to discuss production queries for filming across our city.

With Roman origins, Leicester’s rich history is apparent in architecture from Medieval to Georgian times. With a progressive urban landscape to match, there are film locations here to suit a wide range of productions.  The city boasts numerous greenspaces and parks and the River Soar’s waterways.

We can advise on temporary road closures and/or intermittent traffic control or use of car parks and/or parking bays that are under our management.

We have worked with HETV Dramas, Features and other types of production in recent times and welcome the opportunity to try and make your vision a reality in our city.
