Information about the cost of marriage and civil partnership ceremonies, registrars, certificates, and making alterations to your arrangements.

Where and when you choose to have your wedding or civil partnership will impact on the price you pay for the ceremony.
Ceremony payments can be taken by credit or debit card ONLY. Please note we do not take American Express.
Please note: Fees are subject to increase every April. You will be required to pay the fee applicable to the date of your ceremony.

Renewal of vows
You can hold your renewal of vows ceremony in either the Oak or Fountain room at Town Hall - see fees above. Or you may wish to hold it at one of our approved venues.

Each local authority sets the fees for approved venues. If you have chosen to be married outside of the city of Leicester, you should contact the register office where you have made your arrangements.
Fees for certificates
All marriage and civil partnership certificates cost £11 each.
