Groundwater flooding

Groundwater flooding is where water rises back to the surface from underground. To report groundwater flooding and you will need to contact us on:

Private drainage

Flooding caused by private drainage is the responsibility of the property owner. If you are a leaseholder, you will be required to contact your landlord or estate agent. See: Who is responsible for repairing drains and sewers - Citizens Advice.

Where flooding has been incorrectly reported to Leicester City Council, you will be advised to report flooding to the correct organisation using the contact information provided above.
