Applying for a school place
Please note all applications made after midnight on Tuesday 15 January 2019 for starting school in autumn 2019 will be treated as a late application.
If you wish to apply for a school place starting now then please complete an in-year admission application.

Voluntary aided schools, academies and free schools
If you are applying for a voluntary aided school, academy or a free school, you must complete the schools' own supplementary information form as well as applying to Leicester City Council. You must return the supplementary form directly to the school by the closing date of Tuesday 15 January 2019.

All applications received after this date will be treated as late and will be dealt with after those received on time and you are less likely to be offered a place at your preferred schools.
What happens after you've submitted your application?
For on-time applications you will be sent an email (or a letter) informing you which school has been allocated on Tuesday 16 April 2019.
Slater and Fosse Primary School
A formal decision has now been made to keep Slater Primary open beyond its proposed closing date of August 2019. Therefore, parents can still select Slater Primary School as an option for their child’s future schooling. Fosse Primary School will continue to operate in the same way as it is currently.
